Black's Cliff is a family oriented resort located in Hazelhurst on Lower Kaubashine Lake, 7 miles south of Minocqua in the northern lakes district of Wisconsin.

Our eleven cabins offer a lake view and are spaced to insure privacy. The cabins have all been newly remodeled while retaining their famed "Northwoods" charm.

Black's Cliff's attractively decorated and comfortable cabins, are fully equipped for light housekeeping and offer new appliances. In addition to the cabins, we also offer two four bedroom private homes located 1/2 mile from the resort.

All of our cabins are heated, with boasting beautiful stone fireplaces. Free firewood is provided. Large screened porches provide a panoramic view of the lake. The swinging beds on the porches are great for peaceful napping during the day and delightful sleeping at night.

Black's Cliff offers a sandy beach complete with diving raft for excellent swimming.

Fishing on Lower Kaubashine yields a wide variety, including: walleye, muskie, northern pike and pan fish. A free fishing boat is provided with each cottage and motors may be rented by the day or week. Also available are pontoon boats, paddle boats, canoes and a kayak.

In the evenings enjoy our recreation room with pool table, foosball, pinball, bowling and video games. An outside recreation area has basketball, tetherball, horseshoe pit and sand volleyball court. There's a large playground and an amazing tree house for the kids too. Beautiful trails for walking or bicycling are nearby. In winter, enjoy direct access to the snowmobile trail, and skiing and snowshoeing is just a few miles away.

The Cottage Retreat is a deluxe five-cabin accommodation, featuring exquisite views of the Door County countryside, located in Egg Harbor, the center of Door County. Come enjoy all the wonders that Door County has to offer, from the secluded woods to the rocky shoreline and breathtaking sunsets.

All cottages have air conditioning, wood burning fireplaces, king size whirlpool tubs, stereo CD players, VCR and 27" color TV; some with laundry facilities.

Forest Point Resort and Golf Course is located on 225 acres of forest on beautiful Eau Claire Chain of Lakes ... Wisconsin's most beautiful chain.


Our cabins are all modern log cabins, winterized and well furnished. Each cabin features full kitchens, TV, and full carpeting... completely equipped for housekeeping. A 14-foot fishing boat is included and extra boats are available for rent.

Our nine-hole golf course is well kept and spaced and cuts through natural woodlands. This par 36, 2840 yard course gives both the avid and amateur golfer a challenging and enjoyable round of golf. Golf clubs, riding carts and pull carts are available for rent.

Explore the many hiking trails throughout our property, swim or sun at the sandy beach, or do some fishing for walleye pike, northern pike, both large and smallmouth bass, crappies, perch, bluegills, and large muskies.

Wintertime provides miles of snowmobile trails which are accessible from our resort. Acres of nearby forest lands are available for cross country skiers and ice fishing is a popular winter sport on Lower Eau Claire.

Waubee Lodge has one of the finest supper clubs in the area. We offer a full menu and our Saturday night Prime Rib is superb! We also offer a seasonal breakfast and a scrumptious Sunday Brunch. Summer holds many activities at Waubee Lodge - you can water ski, fish, jet ski, and canoe on beautiful 140 acre Waubee Lake. There's scenic bike trails, hiking, golf, horseback riding, and two amusement parks nearby!

In winter, enjoy over 120 miles of snowmobile trails that run directly in front of the lodge. Snowmobile rentals are available locally. We have a 22 km cross-country ski trail just one half mile from the lodge. Ice fishing usually starts around mid-December, so don't forget your ice drill and tip-ups.


No matter what time of year it is, you can always enjoy the numerous gift, craft, and antique shops in the area as well as the Potawatomi Casino in Carter, just 12 miles from Lakewood.

Indulge yourself in the rustic relaxation of the Brittany Cottages on Madeline Island. We're surrounded by the rugged majesty of Lake Superior, and only a short ferry ride off Wisconsin's beautiful, remote and pristine North Coast.

Relax on 400 feet of lake frontage on Maple Lake in Three Lakes, part of Wisconsin's Northwoods. Maple Shores Resort is located only 20 minutes from Rhinelander, Wisconsin and only 10 minutes from Eagle River, Wisconsin.

Pristine log cabins built on the shores of Lake DuBay, a 7000 acre flowage on the Wisconsin River.

Surrounded by white pine, these cabins boast all the amenities of home. Each cabin has one bedroom, a bunk room that will sleep two adults comfortably and a sleeper sofa in the living room.

Cabins are fully carpeted and equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils, including microwave ovens. All cabins have color TV and are air conditioned and heated for your comfort in any of our four beautiful seasons.

A bait shop and laundry area are on site for your convenience and there is a boat ramp for launching your boat with 144 feet of docking.

Lake DuBay offers great fishing, sailing, water skiing, boating and swimming.

You can boat to two restaurants on the lake or picnic on one of the many islands, accessible only by water.

Golfing, shopping, theatre, and supper clubs are nearby. The 24 mile Green Circle biking/hiking trail in Stevens Point is just 12 miles away and the Plover Water Park is only 20 minutes from your cabin.

In our wonderful winter months Lake DuBay is the gateway to hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails and beautiful cross-country ski areas as well as some of the best ice fishing Wisconsin has to offer.

Hilltop Cottages is a Minocqua area resort with lakeside cottages for family vacations in Northern Wisconsin.

All ten of our Wisconsin cabins are comfortably furnished and have two or three bedrooms, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen, screened - in porch, weber grill and a picnic table. One boat is furnished with each cottage rental. Boat motors are available at an additional charge.

You'll enjoy the safe sandy beach with no drop-offs, swim raft, paddle boats, launching facilities, well-equipped playground, horseshoe pits, volleyball, basketball, and great fishing!
