Step back in time at Heather's Glen, Conroe, Texas. A grand historic two story mansion which transports its visitors back to turn of the century charm.

This proud old Victorian estate bed and breakfast, with its verandas and porches so lovingly restored, evokes in some the wistful nostalgia of days gone by. In others just a comfortable old fashioned feeling of yesteryear.


We have genteel accommodations with romantic wedding suites ideal for a honeymoon or an anniversary celebration. Our bridal suites feature Jacuzzi-style bathtubs for two. The House of the Seasons was built in 1872 during the glory days of Jefferson, then the largest inland port in Texas. The House is decorated to reflect the interior design fashion of the 1870s. Many pieces of furniture are original to the house.

Our four unique guest suites are beautifully decorated and feature king-size beds, sitting areas, jacuzzis, and marble showers. Each suite also has telephone, cable, and internet access for your enjoyment.

At the House of the Seasons, there's no check in or check out times. We try to have every amenity that you may require, insuring your stay with us is pleasant and memorable.

Our House guests receive a private table to enjoy a breakfast buffet European style. On Saturdays, a five-course European candlelight dinner is served in the House dining room (reservations required). For an unforgettable romantic dinner, a private dining room is also available for couples. You'll enjoy fine dining and fine wine from our own wine cellar.

The Ira Allen House is a cozy country inn in the Battenkill Valley of Southern Vermont. It is one of the oldest Inns in Vermont and a state historic site. The tavern and the bedrooms above are over 200 years old.

The inn is located in a four-season resort area. We are 3 miles north of Arlington, and 1 mile south of Manchester, on Historic Route 7A. We are located 1/2 mile south of the famous Mount Equinox Skyline Drive, within easy walking distance of several antique and gift shops.

Each of our four guest suites are beautifully decorated and feature private baths, sitting rooms, and cable TV. The Remember Baker Suite also has a wood burning fireplace, private back porch, and a separate entrance. A classic country breakfast is included with your stay.

Our property is right on the Battenkill, New England's finest trout stream, which also makes it convenient for swimming, canoeing, or just plain relaxing.

After a day of playing in the snow, you can warm up by the cozy fire in our common room and enjoy a complimentary snack!


Then retire to one of three lovely large double bedrooms with queen size beds. Two of the double rooms have working fireplaces, and the third guest room has a sauna. One of the double rooms adjoins a smaller room that, when combined, form a suite that is ideal for a family.


You'll enjoy a family style breakfast each morning in our large country kitchen. We proudly serve as much of our own farm raised food as possible in the preparation of meals.

Relax and just enjoy the bucolic setting, and bask in the openness of our fields and sky. If you like, you can lend a hand in our organic garden, join in or just watch the feeding and care of our animals, or participate in the many changing activities of the farm during each of the seasons.


There's hiking or biking right out our front door on the many miles of beautiful backroads and well maintained trails. Or, if you want to venture off the hill, we are just a 20-minute ride to Montpelier, 45 minutes to Stowe, and an hour ride to Burlington.
