South Beach Resort Hotel & Cottages is located in Marblehead, Ohio on the shores of Lake Erie's Sandusky Bay. We're conveniently near Cedar Point, the Lake Erie Islands, the historic Marblehead Lighthouse, Port Clinton, great fishing and boating, and much more! We offer many amenities to our guests, and have a marina available on site too.
Our hotel offers accommodations to suit your every vacation need. Choose from queen or king rooms, or family suites (all with jacuzzi tubs).
Deluxe rooms feature private balconies and beautiful views of the lake. Relax in your in-room jacuzzi; enjoy fine food and spirits at the neighboring Frontwaters Restaurant.
Our cottages offer all the comforts of home. We have 2, 3, and 4 bedroom cottages with 1 or 2 baths, A/C and heat, fully equipped kitchens, queen size sleeper sofas, barbeque grills, picnic tables, and cable TV. Some cottages also have dishwashers and screened in porches.
We have three heated swimming pools for your enjoyment, including our "lower pool" located near the lakeshore and boasting a hot tub; our "upper pool", close to the hotel; and this year's newest addition, a kiddie pool.
Other onsite amenities include our sand volleyball court, a sun deck built to look like a pirate ship; a shuffleboard court; and, of course, our own private sandy beach. There's a great playground for the kids with a wooden train to climb on, and a real playhouse. We have marina facilities available and the fishing off our marina breakwall is great!
