Sailing Carolina offers on-site kayak rentals at McCotter's Marina in Washington, N.C. Off-site kayak rentals can be picked up or we can deliver the kayak for you (small delivery charge).

All Kayaks are "Sit-On-Top", meaning your kayak adventure will be both safe and comfortable!

We also offer Sailing Cruises and combination Sailing/Kayak Charters.

Flowing from some of the worlds oldest mountains, all the way to the Mississippi, this historical river averages a depth of 3 to 5 feet. Along the way, you'll find some fine places for catching a fish or taking a dip in 8 to 12 foot holes.


As you canoe along the river you can discover the beaver, mink, muskrat, fox, deer, and occasional bear that make their homes in the twists and turns of the Long Man, so named by the Cherokee. Embark on an experience in awe at the hands of caring, professional canoe and kayak outfitters.
