Built as an elegant home in 1903 during Old Orchard Beach's heyday, the Inn is now comprised of the main house and cottage, each with 5 guest rooms.

All guest rooms are sunny, unique and comfortably decorated with a pleasing mixture of old and new. All rooms have private baths and air-conditioning.

You'll wake each morning to a fresh homemade continental breakfast served in our formal dining room, then enjoy relaxing in our elegant, comfortable living room or spacious wrap-around front porch shaded by white birches.

The Inn is an ideal stopping point on your East Coast vacation, or a convenient weekend getaway at the beach.

The yard offers a heated in-ground swimming pool, badminton, and croquet.

A 15 minute drive takes you to Portland's historic Old Port district, the Maine Mall and Scarborough Downs horse racing track. In addition to sightseeing and walking the beaches, other nearby attractions include whale watching, sailing and golf.

The Tidewater Motel is built on a bridge separating Carver's Harbor from Carver's Pond on the beautiful island of Vinalhaven, Maine.

Few views can equal those at the Tidewater and few places are as relaxing. If you want to be closer to the water, you'll want to bring a towel. Open year-round, the Tidewater is the island's only motel.

Most of our rooms are right on the busy harbor. Others look out over the serenity of Carver's Pond. Typically, each room has its own deck overhanging the water, a queen bed and a single bed, cable TV, and private bath.

Other accommodations are tucked away elsewhere in the motel. Many of our rooms have full kitchens. Several rooms on the upper floors can be combined to create suites for families or big groups.

Vinalhaven is a great place for families to vacation. There are many hiking trails and wilderness areas on the island. All offer spectacular vistas and a chance for picnicking, swimming, or exploring. There's restaurants, a musuem, and a Saturday morning flea market too. In the summer, enjoy concerts, auctions, and other community events.

The Holidae House is a beautiful Victorian Inn decorated with period antiques and reproductions.
We operate as a B&B from June 1 until October 15th, daily.



From December 26th through the end of March on weekends, holidays and vacation weeks. The rest of the year we operate as a Country Inn.

Our guest rooms offer queen size beds, private baths, some with whirlpool tubs, in room telephone, and cable TV with HBO. Fully equipped apartments with kitchens are also available.

Located in the heart of Bethel, Maine, the Holidae House is an easy walk to NTL, Bethel's best restaurants, golf and cross-country skiing. We are also less than 5 miles from Sunday River Ski Area and MT. Abram Ski Area.

The Youngtown Inn
is a classic 1810 farmhouse built proudly
upon two centuries of New England heritage.

Step inside the Greenville Inn and return to another era in an elegantly restored lumber baron’s mansion built in 1895. Ship's carpenters worked ten years to complete the carved embellishments and the cherry, mahogany and oak paneling found throughout the Inn.



The stairway landing is graced by a spruce tree painted on a large leaded glass window. Fireplaces are ornamented with carved mantels, mosaic and English tiles. Embossed Lincrusta and gas lights adorn the walls.

Our inn is open year round for lodging, while our fine dining restaurant is open on Saturday's in winter and six days a week in summer.

We offer 3 suites, 6 cottages and king and queen rooms, all with private baths and some with fireplaces. Available June 2004: Tower Suite with Jacuzzi, fireplace, two sitting rooms, a canopy bed and spectacular views.

We supply all accommodations with a selection of personal toiletries made from the purest of ingredients.

The King Rooms and Master Suite have complimentary fluffy terrycloth robes. All our linens and towels are of the highest quality with non-allergenic pillows. In winter and fall enjoy the warmth of our down comforters.
