Based in Bar Harbor, gateway to Acadia National Park, Coastal Kayaking Tours is located in the middle of New England's finest sea kayaking area. The Maine coast, with its rugged peninsulas and 3,000 islands, is almost too pretty to imagine - - until you see it for yourself from the unique perspective of a sea kayak.

Our kayaking trips are just plain fun! We paddle in ultra-stable tandem kayaks (two people to a boat), so the possibility of tipping over is remote.

We offer a wide variety of exciting tours ranging from sunset and harbor trips, to multi-day island camping tours. Whether you're an experienced paddler, or brand new to the sport, we have a tour that is perfect for you. Join us and experience the ultimate in paddling.

Coastal Kayaking Tours specializes in tailoring custom packages for groups, whether it's an official organization or a bunch of friends planning a get-together. All you have to do is let us know how many of you there will be (the minimum number is 8) and how long you want to spend on the water. We'll take care of the rest.

You’re not committed to staying in one spot like most kayak companies do. If transporting our kayak is a problem we’ll be happy to shuttle it for you for a small price!

Our guided tours are limited to smaller groups, making your trip more personalized. We offer overnight, full day, and half-day trips, and sunset paddles. Beginners are welcome, lessons are provided.
