Located just 5 miles east of Cumberland Falls State Resort Park, our home base borders the Daniel Boone National Forest and offers visitors an excellent location from which to base a Kentucky outdoor adventure.
Our whitewater rafting trips offer a wide range of difficulty levels that allow outdoor enthusiasts of all skill levels to enjoy this sport. We offer rafting trips that range from beginner to expert, that run on different rivers, at different times of the year. For those looking for a little more excitement, we have duckies available! Duckies are inflatable boats, like the rafts, but they are much smaller and hold 2 people (no guide).
Our canoe trips range from peaceful half-day family outings to challenging multiple-day trips. There are a number of options available, depending on the time of the year and the type of trip that you are looking for.
Sheltowee Trace Outfitters also offers kayak instruction, lunch cruises and charter cruises on our Cumberland Star River Boat, and we have a climbing wall too.
Our rustic cabins and wooded campsites are set on the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest. Other accommodations are available close by.
