Southern Star embarks on a fun-filled two hour cruise in search of the coastal bottlenose dolphin. You will experience the beauty and grace of these incredible marine mammals up close and personal.

Our cruise begins with a narrated tour of Destin Harbor. We then exit the harbor and proceed down to the pass and the Gulf of Mexico.

Watch the dolphins swim alongside the boat, having almost as much fun as you will.

Island Eco Tours start with an exploration of the uninhabited mangrove islands, teeming with wildlife and the natural history of the Florida Keys. The larger islands have idyllic picturesque sandy beaches.

Next: Your encounter with wild dolphins! As we approach the dolphins’ playground, they may come to the boat and ride the bow waves! Watch as they leap from the water in playful wonderment. You may see mothers teaching the babies to perfect their acrobatic skills.

Later, explore the coral heads and other habitats of the backcountry, with it's shallow and calm waters. Snorkel amongst the tropical fish, sea turtles, spotted and southern rays. As a Padi Dive Master, I will give you instruction and assistance as needed. Your tropical lunch will be served as you exit the water. And, of course, all snorkel gear is provided.

Lazy River Cruises

The tours are on the Withlacoochee river and Rainbow Springs river. The Withlacoochee is one of the cleanest most undeveloped rivers left in Florida. The Rainbow springs is the third largest spring in Florida and the 8th largest in the world.

On the tours there are many species of birds, turtles, otters, deer, wild turkey, and of course most peoples favorite are the ALLIGATORS!

The beautiful scenery on these rivers are like going back in time and seeing it as the Indians seen it 100 years ago. On the guided tours you can learn about the wildlife and the history of the rivers. These tours are done on large, comfortable, covered, pontoon boats.
